The early season fishing has been very good lately, with some nice catches of walleyes happening primarily during the day on the west shores near the river mouths, as well as some decent action after dark in the Sturgeon Bay area. The lower bay bite should really pick up soon with some warmer weather and a shift away from the north winds that are keeping the lower end dirty. Pike action has also been good in the Sturgeon Bay area, as we've been getting some nice fish both jigging deeper water and casting shallow areas depending on the weather conditions. The smallmouth bass opener is this weekend, May 4, and I will update the action on them sometime next week! Feel free to contact me anytime with any questions or if you're interested in a charter for any of these exciting fish!
